NAAAP-NY Future Leaders Scholarship

Through the NAAAP-NY Future Leaders Scholarship, NAAAP-NY would like to recognize the outstanding academic, extracurricular, community service, and career development achievements of three (3) high school students. Each award recipient will receive a $2,500 scholarship for use towards college expenses.  Eligibility:
  • Be of Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity
  • Be a high school senior
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0
  • Will enroll in a 4-year institution within the NY metropolitan area in Fall 2014
  • Be a citizen or permanent resident of the U.S.
Consideration for the scholarship involves an application that must be submitted by March 15, 2014, and an invitation-only final round interview in April/May. The application consists of four (4) parts:
  • Applicant information
  • Essay
  • Transcript and resume
  • List of references
